There’s a CTA bus stop right in front of the building, and the 55th St Metra station is just across Lake Park Avenue. Metered street parking is available on both 55th and Lake Park, and Harper Ave is free except between the hours of 3 pm and 6 pm, when use is restricted to residents with permits.
